Federal Workmans Comp Doctors

We are an OWCP-authorized medical provider with extensive experience in treating federal employee's injuries and claims preparation. If you have been injured on the job, our doctors will treat your injuries, and our consultants will help you with your claim and make sure no details are missed.

Doctors That Help You Get Your Benefits

Our doctors specialize in workplace injury treatment for federal employees, and our team knows how to properly prepare your claim so that you receive all the benefits you’re entitled to. Some of the more common injuries we treat include:

  • Back
  • Knee
  • Shoulder
  • Wrist
  • Hand
  • Ankle
  • Foot
  • Neck

If your injury is less typical than the above, we offer the most advanced treatments for almost every type of workplace injury. Come in for an evaluation, and our federal workman’s comp doctors will recommend a treatment plan that’s right for you.

Filing an injury claim under the Federal Employees’ Compensation Act (FECA) isn’t always straightforward. The DOL OWCP (Department of Labor: Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs) reviews each claim and will approve or decline benefits based on the evidence and details presented in your application.

Doctors That Help You Get Your Benefits

In 1974, an important amendment was made to FECA, allowing workers to select the doctor of their choice. Being able to choose the doctor you want to work with, rather than one selected by your employer, means that you can get the support you need from someone who will put your best interests first and work on your behalf. That is precisely what we do at our clinic.

Don’t Get Turned Down for Treatment You Need

Don’t Get Turned Down for Treatment You NeedAll members of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) are eligible for FECA benefits, as well as all civilian employees of the Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP), Department of Defense (DOD), Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Social Security Administration (SSA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), United States Postal Service (USPS), Veterans Affairs (VA), and other federal agencies that employ civilian workers.

Also covered under FECA are federal jurors and certain volunteer organizations (e.g., the Peace Corps).

Although injuries certainly can and do strike employees working in all of the fields listed above, postal workers with the United States Postal Service (USPS) are a particularly afflicted group. They are the largest group of FECA benefit recipients. Mail carriers walking all day with heavy loads suffer a high rate of injury, yet they can be turned down for benefits if they do not correctly complete all of the paperwork when filing their claim. The process can indeed be quite complicated, which is why you shouldn’t risk doing it on your own. As a USPS postal worker or an employee of any of the other federal agencies covered by FECA, you deserve the benefits you are entitled to.

At our clinic, our specialty is helping federal employees properly prepare and file their claims so that they have the best chance of being accepted. While we cannot provide a 100% guarantee that your claim will be accepted, we have an excellent track record of getting our patients’ claims accepted. We can also ensure that your claim is completed and submitted properly. Contact our office today to schedule your free appointment.
